1-800 Call Centers Employ Nearly 1,000 Oregonians

Have you ever called a 1-800 number Chances are, you’ve heard an Oregonian on the other end.

Roseburg, Coos Bay, and Grants Pass are home to two new call centers, employing nearly 1,000 local operators. Officials say they plan to hire an additional 250 sales agents for the Christmas season.

The companies are First Call Resolution and Telecommunications Management Systems.
