17-year-old found dead inside apartment complex

Eugene, Ore– Aweekend shooting leaves one teenager dead. Police are still trying to piece together Sunday morning’s events. Investigators believe two people are responsible for firing guns at an apartment complex.

17-year-old Justin Lee Gardener was found by police, dead inside one of the units.

Police have arrested 19-year-old Zachary Beauchamp, charging him with first-degree manslaughter.

The second person who fired a gun has not yet been charged.

Doug Mozan with the Eugene Police Department is helping in the investigation, “Our heart goes out to the family of Mr. Gardner,and we hope that we get some answers soon.”
