70 Thanksgiving baskets donated to those in need

Medford, Ore. —    For more than 10 years the Home Builders Association has been donating food baskets to those in need in Jackson County.

Today, the organization delivered 70 Thanksgiving baskets to Kids Unlimited. The organization plans to distribute the food to families in need this week.

“I think it’s something that is so important and such an amazing way to see how supportive our community is,” said Emily Freeman, Project Manager for Kids Unlimited.

Members of the Homeowners Association make the food donations each year, which include a turkey, soup, bread and other various items.  Next year they hope to give out more than 100 donations to local hungry families.
