911 difficulties for wireless callers in Curry County

CURRY COUNTY, Ore. – Happening right now, Curry County Emergency Services are reporting an outage for cell phone callers trying to dial 911. According to information shared from the Sheriff’s Office, they believe it’s related to internal phone line issues. Wireless callers trying to reach 911 are asked to use a landline or call 541-247-6661. Their business number is also listed, at 541-247-3243. Emergency Services states they will notify the public when the issues are resolved.
