Medord, Ore. — Organizers say a run to help a local girl facing kidney surgery met, and well exceeded, its fundraising goal.
A coordinator for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association tells us that Helen’s princess dash on Saturday brought in over 10,000 dollars, crushing the 5,000 dollar goal.
The money all goes towards medical bills for 4 year old Helen.
She has chronic kidney disease and will soon undergo a transplant.
