ACCESS in Jackson County receives donation to help veterans

access_logo_blackJackson County, Ore. — Jackson County’s ACCESS gets a big boost, a 150-thousand dollar check from Wells Fargo Bank’s Housing Foundation.

The money will go towards the access Welcome Home project, where qualified veterans will receive up to 15-thousand dollars towards a down payment on a home.

“I think the timing is perfect…you know what better way. Right around veterans day and we find out and we also find out that it’s also the largest regional award that was given by Wells Fargo,” says Cindy Dyer, ACCESS Housing Director.

Veterans in Jackson County who are interested in applying for the program can call the ACCESS Home Ownership Center at 541-774-4322 or visit accesshelps.org for more information.
