York, Pa. — (WGAL) A Pennsylvania man whose wife died in what was thought to be an ATV accident in 2012 is now accused of her murder.
Police now say Annemarie Fitzpatrick discovered her husband, Joseph Fitzpatrick III, was having an affair and she feared for her life after a co-worker found a handwritten note on her daily planner that read “06/06/12. If something happens to me…JOE.”
Court documents also show that Annemarie had sent an e-mail to her own account with the subject line, “If something happens to me.” In it, she wrote:
“Joe and I are having marital problems. Last night we almost had an accident where a huge log fell on me. Joe was on the pile with the log and had me untying a tarp directly below.”
