Animal Contol Exec Budgeted Out Of A Job

Deep budgets cuts in Josephine County have claimed its first victim. Josephine County Animal Protection Supervisor, Brad Tally is out of a job. The county cut the animal control budget in half. The slash meant something had to change and the decision was to get rid of the animal shelter’s top executive. The shelter will also have to reduce hours, most likely close, or stop taking cats all together. The shelter handles more than 2-thousand animals a year, including horses and livestock. Tally’s last day will be on February 6th. When Tally leaves, the county will have one field officer for the entire county.
