Grants Pass, Ore. — An anonymous tip Tuesday morning leads Grants Pass Police directly to a fugitive suspected of stealing multiple vehicles.
SWAT was dispatched to the Travelodge Motel on NW Vine Street in Grants Pass where 30 year-old Eddie Correia Jr. was arrested. During the arrest, police also arrested a female, Elizabeth Boyle. She was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Correia was being investigated for stealing numerous vehicles and had allegedly eluded police on previous occasions. A stolen Chevrolet Tahoe was also found at the motel where Correia was arrested.
Both Correia and Boyle are being held in the Josephine County jail.
