Apublic meeting will be held tonight to discuss the possibility of increasing the speed limit on Applegate Lake.
Currently the boaters can only go 10 miles per hour which recreationalists say is not fast enough for several water activities.
Opponents of the proposed speed change however say the reduced speed isthe exact reason they like going toApplegate Lake.
Ameeting will be held at the Medford Library at 7pm tonight, to discuss the idea however the Oregon Marine board will not make an officials decision until January.
