Ashland, Ore. — Ashland Mayor John Stromberg proposed three “tipping point” projects he wants residents to carefully consider.

During his State of the City Address Monday night, the mayor called upon the Ashland community to address emergency preparedness, climate change and helping people in need.

“If we can deal with any of these three tipping point issues, it’s going to make us stronger as a community. It’s going to bring us closer together,” said Mayor Stromberg.

State Representative Peter Buckley was also present where he was recognized for his years of service representing Ashland. In honor of the representative, Mayor Stromberg declared Tuesday “Peter Buckley Day”.
