Car accidents closes 2 lanes of Central ave in Medford

Medford, Ore. — Central avenue was closed down to one lane in West Medford on Friday, after a car flipped and landed on it’s side.

Medford Fire-Rescue, Police, and ambulances were sent to Central avenue and East Jackson street around 2:30 PM.

Two children in the car were able to get out, but the female driver was stuck inside.

Firefighters were able to get her out safely. All three were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Its not clear what caused the car to flip. The Medford Police Department is investigating.
