Car crashes into Ashland Fire Department

Ashland, Ore. — The Ashland Fire Department suffered some damage Tuesday night after a woman drove straight into it!

The Ashland Battalion Chief says the woman was driving north on Siskiyou Boulevard around 5:30 Tuesday evening when she drove through bushes, narrowly missing several signs, over-corrected and went into the side of the fire house.

The impact created even damaged the interior of the building.

The woman went to the hospital but we don’t know if she was injured or whether or not she got a ticket.

The Battalion Chief says speed was likely a factor.
