Car fire damages three cars at Crater High School

Central Point, Ore. — Smoke could be seen from blocks away as Jackson County Fire District three worked to put out a vehicle fire.

“It started under the hood, somewhere near the carburetor” said Deputy Fire Marshal, Mark Northrop.

A red Jeep is said to have started the fire which spread to two others. Totaling one of the vehicles.

Fire officials estimate the damages to be around $8500. No injuries where reported and all three vehicles belonged to students.
