Cave Junction Post Office Burns To The Ground

Fire crews from around Josephine county are on the scene of a 2 alarm fire that broke out at the Cave Junction Post Office.

Officials with Rural Fire tell us that the call came in at 1:40amThursday morning, the building already engulfed in flames.

Crews worked hard to contain the fire to the building overnight. We are told that the fire is out and the building looks to be a complete loss.

Officials say the walls are standing but the rest is gone. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
