“Cherish a Child”; Children’s Advocacy Center holds annual luncheon

craig and kristin emcee cac Medford, Ore. — Child abuse is a serious problem, with 800 reported cases in Jackson County alone last year. That’s why the Children’s Advocacy Center holds its annual luncheon.

The event Thursday, helps raise money to provide care for children who are victims of abuse or neglect. CAC does not charge families for their services, so getting the community involved is imperative.

“Everybody has something to give,” Executive Director, Tammi Pitzen says, “it may not be a lot of money, but it may be time, and time is just as important as the financial support.”

NBC5’s Craig Smullin and Kristin Hosfelt were honored to emcee Thursday’s event. If you’d like to donate, or volunteer click HERE.
