Combusting rags spark fire in downtown Medford

Medford, Ore. — The cause of a fire in downtown Medford Wednesday night is now known.

It started a little before nine in an Ontrack office on West Main Street.

According to a spokesperson for Ontrack, the fire started when some rags being used for staining spontaneously combusted.
