Couple married after nine days travels home for the holidays

Medford, Ore. — “I’ve never been more happier in my life,” exclaims newlywed Josh Martin.

While the cold weather may create anxiety for many busy travelers, you won’t notice chilly feelings between newlyweds Josh and Erin Martin.

Josh: “I knew her for how long?”
Erin: “Eight days.”
Josh: “I knew her for eight days and married her!”

Josh and his new bride Erin met when Josh’s dad was speaking at Erin’s church in Klamath Falls.

“We met that night and never looked back.”

That happened 15 days ago and she said ‘I do’ 9 days later.

“No questions asked. Pow! Done,” Josh exclaimed.

Now, on one of the busiest travel days of the year, the happy newlyweds are flying home to Josh’s hometown so his family can meet his new wife.

“We booked the flights and going back to Georgia and driving back — cross country. So in love. Ready to do this thing called love, ya know.”

He says he’s proud to bring her home to his family in Georgia.
