Classes are canceled at Crater High School after a water main floods the building.
A school custodian arrived around 5am this Monday morning to find water pouring into the parking lot.
Soon after, the leak was found in the school’s boiler room. “It flooded the boiler room and because the sub pumps couldn’t keep up it flooded most of the school including both wings.” said Randy Gravon, Superintendent, Central Point School District #6.
School officials say classes will likely be cancelled tomorrow until they can reinstall a new heating system which was damaged during that flood.
The school is expected to be closed Monday the 11th until Wednesday the 13th.
