Cylvia Hayes supports Monica Lewinsky on social media

Ore. — The fiance of former Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber took to Twitter and Facebook Tuesday, March 24th, to sound off about media judgment, citing Monica Lewinsky for her “powerful statement” in a recent Ted talk.

Hayes, who is currently the subject of a federal investigation alongside former Governor John Kitzhaber, commended Lewinskys talk, titled, “I am so appreciative of her for taking this on,” she wrote on Facebook.

“This is a powerful statement about how our click-for-cash media business model has turned public humiliation into a commodity and shame into an industry.”
