Dutch Bros. hosts fundraiser for Canine Angels

cast-logo-high-resGrants Pass, Ore. — Nothing can put you in the holiday spirit like puppies and coffee. At least that will be the case at the Dutch Bro’s coffee stands in Josephine and Klamath counties this Saturday.

Dutch Bros is hosting a fundraiser for Canine Angels, a nonprofit group that trains service dogs for kids and young adults.

Canine Angels customize the training of the dogs to meet the specific needs of each child

“They are trained to pick up things and place them in your lap, turn on and off lights and provide assistance in balance when needed,” says Sandy Mays, the head trainer at Canine Angels.

The last 8 years they have slowly grown the program but they want to do more and that is where Dutch Bros and this weekend’s big event comes in. Dutch Bros coffee are selling Unibeast bandanas and leashes for puppies like this one and it will be at all of our Josephine and Klamath county locations.

You wonder about the connection of dutch kickers and eggnog lattes with the dogs, we’ll head through the drive through this weekend with your furry friend and you will see.

“We want to honor that a lot of our customers are dogs lovers and the children are the focal point of our love abounds foundation and all we do at Dutch Bros,” says Jennifer Wheatley of Dutch Bros. Coffee.

If you do run into one of the K9 angel dogs good luck prying yourself away in Grants Pass.
