Edibles for retail sale in Oregon

Medford, Ore. — Beginning June 2nd the sale of edible marijuana products containing up to 15 milligrams of THC will be available for recreational sale in Oregon for adults 21 or older.

But you won’t be able to buy them in Medford just yet. Edibles are already legal for medical purposes, but voters will decide in November if they want recreational marijuana to be sold within city limits. Still, the co-owner of Oregon Farmacy, a medical marijuana dispensary in Medford, said legalizing recreational edibles across the state will only help the marijuana industry flourish.

“There’s a lot of people who want to try marijuana, but don’t want to smoke so this is their avenue,” Matthew Noyes said.

Pharm to Table, a dispensary that sits just outside Medford city limits, said they’ve been receiving shipments of edibles all day as they expect business to spike Thursday with new customers.
