Election ballots returning to Jackson County Clerk’s office already

Ore. — Jackson County elections officials are already reporting a 10% return on ballots for the November election.

Jackson County Clerk Chris Walker says it’s one that has people interested, ”Every election is an important election, but I think the feel in the community is that there’s a lot of attention being paid to those statewide measures.”

Drop box locations open on Monday but you can still mail your ballot in now.

Next to filling out your ballot, election officials say the most important thing to do is make sure it has your signature; each ballot must be verified before any vote can be counted.
