Jacksonville, Ore. — Two people are dead after their car crashed into a parked semi-trailer in Jacksonville.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Cassandre McClellan of Medford was driving a Buick Rendevouz when she crashed into the trailer on Upper Applegate Road.
Witnesses say the car was passing other vehicles at high speeds minutes earlier. The passenger, 33-year-old Jacksonville man Eric Stanley was also pronounced dead on scene.
Deputies say it’s unknown if drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash.
