Cave Junction, Ore. — A fatal crash caused traffic delays just north of Cave Junction on highway 199.
Illinois Valley Fire District says crews found a Saturn and a Honda that had been involved in a head on accident. IVFD says one of the cars lost control on the ice and hit the other car in the other lane.
All of the passengers were taken to the hospital, one was later pronounced dead.
IVFD is reminding everyone to slow down in snowy and icy conditions.
