Albany, Ore. — A woman died after her car crashed into a semi-truck on Interstate 5 near Albany, Thursday morning.
The crash blocked northbound and southbound lanes near milepost 237 for over four hours. Investigators said a woman was driving northbound when her car traveled into the center median and continued into the southbound lanes, where it crashed into a semi-truck.
The semi-truck traveled into the center median and into the northbound lanes, where it crashed into a concrete barrier, police said.
The woman who was driving the car died at the scene, her name has not been released, the truck driver suffered minor injuries, police said.
