Grants Pass, Ore. — Oregon State Police are investigating a motorcycle crash in Grants Pass that left a man dead.
Troopers say the motorcyclist, Grant Evan Verity, was speeding and passing cars on Demaray Drive around 4:30 pm Thursday when the SUV in front of him slowed to turn onto Hubbard Lane.
Verity crashed into the back of the Nissan Xterra and died at the scene; he was wearing a protective helmet.
The driver of the Nissan was not hurt. The name of the Nissan driver will be provided when available.
