Fire Officials Investigating Overnight Vehicle Fire

Avehicle fire on Highway 140 happened early Thursday morning between Jackson and Klamath Counties.

Fire crews were called to the scene around 12:30 am, near mile post 30.

When they arrived, they found this car fully engulfed in flames.

There were even propane tanks in the back of the trailer that police say luckily did not explode.

No one was hurt, and the trailer was salvaged to a point.

Officials believe the transmission overheated, causing the blaze.

That investigation will continue Thursday.
