Foster Farms recall chicken due to salmonella contamination

If you haven’t cleaned out your freezer in a while it might a good time to do that.

Foster Farms is recalling dozens of its chicken products because of salmonella contamination.

Foster Farms is voluntarily recalling chicken products produced in March.

The recalled products have an establishment number p-6-1-3-7, p-6-1-3-7-a or p-7-6-3-2 inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service say the chicken is likely not being sold in stores anymore but could be in consumers freezers.

The chicken products would have “use or freeze by” dates ranging from March 21st to March 29th.
