FOUND: Officials confirm missing/runaway Sutherlin teen home safe

Updated (5/22 10:30 a.m.) The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office sayson Friday, around 8:00 a.m. the Douglas County Emergency Communications received a call from Amy Lykins reporting that her son, Tyler Lykins who was reported as a runaway/missing person, had returned home.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to their residence and confirmed that Tyler was in good condition.

Sutherlin, Ore. –The family of a Sutherlin teenager is asking for your help in locating him.

14-year-old Tyler Lykins was reported as a runaway to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and he’s has been missing since early Thursday morning.

Lykins is described as 6 foot and 135 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

The family says the eighth grader has never ran away before.

If you have any information on his whereabouts you are asked to call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
