Four years later: Police continue to search for William ‘Huey’ Huson’s killer

Medford, Ore. — Thursday marks four years since a Medford cab driver was murdered. Medford police are still trying to find William “Huey” Huson’s killer.

Police say Huson picked up a fare at Howies on Front Street around 10:30 PM, and took that man to Helo drive. That’s where Huson’s body was found the next morning.

Police say the killer then dumped the cab in a parking lot near 9th and Almond streets in Medford. Detective Tony Young has been on the case since day one; he said even though it’s been four years, the investigation is still moving forward.

“For something to go four years is discouraging, it’s not what I wanted to have happen, but I think it’s going to be solved, and what you do on the front end is how that happens,” Det. Young
