Salem, Ore. –Eight more Oregon counties have been declared drought emergencies by Governor Kate Brown including Jackson and Josephine counties.

Deschutes, Grant, Morrow, Umatilla, and Wasco were also added to the list.

A total of 15 counties have now been declared drought emergencies. In addition to the new declarations, Governor Brown also kicked of a new social media campaign titled #ORDrought.
