Grants Pass city council to ask residents if they want marijuana dispensaries

Grants Pass, Ore. –Grants Pass city councilors are planning to ask city residents whether they want medical and recreational marijuana dispensaries.

That’s according to Councilman Dan DeYoung who says the council did not vote on Monday to pass that resolution, since Mondays meeting was a work study session.

If passed that resolution would appear on the November 2016 ballot.

The council will also vote on banning recreational marijuana dispensaries until the public’s vote at a future meeting.
