Grants Pass Police search for stabbing suspects

Grants Pass, Ore. — Police in Grants Pass are searching for the suspect or suspects involved in a stabbing that happened Sunday afternoon.

Just after 1 PM, officers with the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety responded to the 300 block of Union Avenue. A man was reported to be lying in the roadway, with a couple people standing over him. When the person who called police began to approach the victim, the group left.

Police say the 35 year old victim was taken to the hospital with a stab wound. The seriousness of his condition is not known.

Officers are still seeking information on the people who were standing around him. If you know anything, call police.
