Grants Pass services visit city council

Grants Pass, Ore., — The Grants Pass City Council is making sure services in the area are being taken care of.

The Women’s Crisis Center, the Sobering Center, Gospel Rescue Mission and Hearts With A Mission all spoke this morning in front of the council.

Each service gave a run down of how it’s doing and what their budgets look like.

“They’re really effective in the community, they provide really important, cause if they didn’t have it cause then possibly people’s live would be at risk.” said one councilor, Roy Lindsay.

Although none of the services asked for any more money from the council, the city does provide certain amounts to each.

Councilman Lindsay says there is room in the budget to help out more, if needed.
