High Speed pursuit through Eagle Point ends on front lawn of Butte Falls home

ROMA PURSUIT 2Butte Falls, Ore. — A high speed police chase ended on the front lawn of a Butte Falls home Wednesday afternoon and with kids getting out of school right as the chase was happening.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies say the chase began as a report of a stolen car this morning in Eagle
Point.

When the suv was spotted this afternoon it reached speeds of more than 80 miles-per-hour before
crashing on a lawn on the 400 block of Oak Avenue in Butte Falls.

Amazingly the SUV landed an inch from a diesel tank, thankfully it doesn’t appear anyone was seriously hurt.
