New numbers out by the Oregon State Police show that there were nearly twice as many DUII arrests this past holiday weekend compared to the same time last year.
Over all, the state reported 53 DUII arrests compared to last year’s 28.
The Central Point Command Office reporting they had 4 of those arrests and the Grants Pass office had 3.
Local and state law enforcement agencies across the nation are participating in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign which runs through January 1, 2013.
