Holiday Market is on at the expo

JACKSON COUNTY, Ore –The expo is hosting it’s annual holiday market this weekend, COVID-19 style.
The event has been around nearly 20 years, but is getting moved outsideto the Isola Arena.

The expo says it’s big enough to allow up to 250 people, within COVID-19 guidelines.

30 different vendors around the Southern Oregon region will be there, selling a variety of products.

“We decided that no matter how hard it was going to be if that meant that we all get to wear our masks, we’ll wear masks and if that means we have to stay six feet socially distanced, we’ll stay socially distanced,” says Helen Funk, event director.

Funk says there will be ‘expo elves’ monitoring face coverings and social distancing.

The event is free, and runs Friday from 12 to 6, and Saturday 10 to 4.

If you miss it, it will be back December 4th and 5th with different vendors.
