‘Little, free library’ vandalized in Klamath Falls

library 3Klamath Falls, Ore. – A ‘little, free library’ is vandalized in Klamath Falls, and neighbors are outraged.

Julie Morrill has offered a tiny library out in front of her home on Garden Avenue for the past 3 years.

But Monday evening or Tuesday morning, someone smashed the small kiosk.

Morrill says she plans to repair her library, “I need to rebuild it, but my friends who helped me make it is in the hospital right now.  But as soon as he gets out, he’s going to help me make another one.”

The concept began about 7 years ago.

There are now about 40,000 ‘little free libraries’ around the world.
