Local woman suing company after finding tooth-like object in bag of chips

Medford, Ore. — A woman is suing for more than $9,000 because of something she claims she found inside a cheese puff.

According to court documents Jackson County resident Cinda Perkins purchased cheese puffs from the Medford Dollar Tree and when she bit into one of them, she found a tooth or “tooth like object” inside.

The suit is not against the Dollar Tree, but the maker of the puffs, Tennessee Corporation, Brimhall Foods Company Inc.

The document states that Perkins continues to suffer from anxiety and revulsion due to the find.

In total, she’s asking for $9,626 in restitution.
