MADGE arrests put four people behind bars

0303 MADGE ArrestMedford, Ore – Four people are in jail on drug-related charges after a search by the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement team.

Police say that based on some information provided to the MADGE team, officers served a search warrant at an apartment on Brookhurst Street on Tuesday morning.

Upon searching the apartment, officers say they found scales, packaging, an ounce of heroin, three rifles, and trace amounts of methamphetamine.

While the search was being conducted, police say the investigators noticed a vehicle drive by that was believed to be associated with the criminal activity they were focused on. After a traffic stop, police were able to identify the occupants of the vehicle to be Oliver Rosales and Edgardo Amaya.

Police say they arrested Rosales and Amaya, along with Izabella Julia St. Claire, and Jonathan Michael Rodriguez. The suspects are believed to be members of the Surenos gang.

The four suspects have been lodged at the Jackson County Jail on various drug-related charges. Officers say they are continuing to investigate other people who may be involved in this case.
