Man airlifted to hospital following motorcycle crash

motorcycleLost Creek Lake, Ore. — A man was airlifted to a local hospital, following a serious motorcycle crash on Highway 62, that closed down both lanes of traffic Saturday afternoon.

Around 1:30 PM, Oregon State Police were called to milepost 32, near Lost Creek Lake for the accident.

NBC5 News spoke with the man’s friend at the scene of the crash, who was riding his motorcycle behind him. He said the man tilted his chin down, before veering off the road.

“I didn’t know what to think, I just knew I had to get back to him, I had to do CPR on him twice, and he’s not doing good,” Robert Lee said. “He’s in bad condition right now, they had to airflight him out of here.”

The man was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries; his exact condition is not known. It’s not clear if he suffered a medical problem before crashing. The investigation into what happened is ongoing.
