A man is behind bars, accused of sexually abusing three little girls at the Almost Home Pre-School & Child Care facility in Grants Pass.
At 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, Josephine County Sheriff’s detectives arrested 61-year-old Tommy J. Dunn for allegedly inappropriately touching three female children on multiple occasions. Authorities said all of the girls were five years old or younger.
Officials said Dunn is the husband of the person who runs the day care.
Initial reports of abuse surfaced on March 7. The Department of Human Services Child Welfare, District Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Detectives worked together and immediately closed the day care for investigation.
Almost Home has been open since February 2009.
