Brookings, Ore. — An investigation is underway after a man was found dead along the coast in Curry County but the body has yet to be identified.
Oregon State Police and Brookings Police are trying to find out why the man was at Mill Beach State Park and a possible cause of death.
According to the reports, the body washed ashore Tuesday morning and now the county’s major crimes team has been activated.
Those with information are asked to call Oregon State Police.
