Medford Considers Separating Utility Bills

The City of Medford is considering a separate utility bill for streets, storm drains, and sewers.

In the proposal, the utilities would be taken out of the current Medford Water Commission bill.

The change would cost around $300,000 for the city.

However it would create a long-term easy billing process with new software.

The Medford City Council will further discuss the issue in a meeting on Thursday.
