Medford drive-by shooting suspect caught in Ohio

Geno KingDayton, Ohio — Medford Police say Geno King, the suspected shooter in a drive-by shooting in July, was caught in Ohio Monday morning.

Officials say with the assistance of the United States Marshals, King was taken into custody in Dayton after the “Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team” surrounded an apartment he was in.

King is a suspect in a July 30th shooting on the 400 block of S. Columbus Avenue where a female was shot. The female victim has since recovered. Officials do believe the incident was gang-related.
