Medford, Ore — Medford Police responded to a bank robbery at American West Bank in East Medford off Highway 62 at around 4:55 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Lieutenant Mike Budreau said the suspect is a white male, 6’2, wearing a black “KISS” style wig. He said the suspect also had a whitebandannaaround his face, a white beanie and was wearing a multi-colored wind breaker.
MPD said the suspect was extremelyaggressivewhen he entered the bank and was armed with a shotgun. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash afterthreateningthe teller.
Witnesses said they saw the man take off on foot across the other side of Highway 62. Customers were not inside during the robbery.
