Merlin teen arrested for allegedly threatening law enforcement officials

ArrestedMerlin, Ore. — A Merlin teen is in custody after allegedly making threats against law enforcement.

Police say they arrested the 15-year-old boy last Tuesday after they received a tip that he was making threats toward different agencies, including Grants Pass Police.

The teen was found to be in possession of at least four firearms as well as ammunition and ballistic boy armor.

The juvenile was arrested without incident and has been charged with unlawful possession of body armor, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing.
