Authorities with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office have confirmed the body of 60 year old James Lutter was found Sunday morning in Lane County.
Lutter was on motorcycle trip from Portland to Medford and was involved in a single vehicle accident on a remote service forest road.
A multi-county search and rescue effort was put into place.
Lutter was found underneath his motorcycle about 15 feet off the roadway down a 12 foot embankment.
It’s unknown what caused Lutter to crash.
