Morning Snowfall

What started as a winter wonderland quickly turned into hazardous road conditions this morning for drivers across Southern Oregon.

Overnight temperatures sat below or near freezing in Medford, Phoenix, Talent, and Ashland.

Nearly three inches of fresh snowfell overnight inAshland making driving difficult. Some residents decided to put chains on their tires before hitting the road.

“It was so awful to drive, we probably shouldn’t even have driven even with chains on,” said resident Amy Warn.

Although sunshine may be on the mind of some residents, the snow on the ground is proof that winter is certainly still here.
